It has been announced that Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem will lend their voices to new animated fantasy musical, Spellbound, which features music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater.

The movie by Apple Original Films and Skydance Animation will also feature the vocal talents of the previously announced Rachel Zegler as Princess Ellian, alongside John Lithgow as Minister Bolinar, Nathan Lane and Andre De Shields as The Oracles of the Sun and Moon), Jenifer Lewis as Minister Nazara Prone, and Jordan Fisher as Callan.

Kidman and Bardem will play the princess’ parents: Ellsmere and Solon.

The film will be directed by Vicky Jenson, with a screenplay by Lauren Hynek, Elizabeth Martin and Linda Woolverton.
