Kerry Ellis set to join international tour of CATS in Taiwan

West End and Broadway star Kerry Ellis is set to join the international production of Cats in Taiwan this summer.

Ellis will be reprising her role of Grizabella, whom she played at the London Palladium in 2005.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical will play in the East Asian country as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations. The tour will run at Taipei Arena from 16 to 19 June, before moving to Kaohsiung National Theatre Opera House (24-27 June) and Tauchung Chung-shan Hall (8-11 July).

The current tour opened in Seoul last September and for a time, was the only production of Cats running in the world due to the pandemic.
