It has been announced that Paul Kaye (Matilda the Musical) and Matthew Tennyson (A Monster Calls) will join the cast of Martin McDonagh’s Olivier Award-winning The Pillowman to play Ariel and Michal respectively, when it makes its West End premiere at the Duke of York’s Theatre from 10 June-2 September.

They join the previously announced Lily Allen as Katurian and Steve Pemberton as Tupolski.

Directed by Matthew Dunster, Lily Allen plays a writer in a police state who is interrogated about the content of her short stories and their similarities to several murders occurring in the town.

Joining Martin and Matthew on the creative team are designer Anna Fleischle, lighting designer Neil Austin, sound designer Ian Dickinson for Autograph, and casting by Amy Ball.
