Audiences have a chance to enjoy Shakespeare’s epic tragedy Julius Caesar in the beautiful environment of Morden Hall Park at the end of April.

The Globe on Tour production will play two performances at the National Trust park in South London on 29 & 30 April, and viewers are invited to bring along a picnic to the Rose Garden.

The production will then transfer to the Globe Theatre on 3 May, before going on tour across the UK.

Directed by Diane Page, Julius Caesar takes on new relevance and asks the question: in a world where the mark of one’s success is how great your country is, how far are our leaders willing to go to reign supreme?

The touring ensemble features Charlotte Bate as Cassius, Omar Bynon as Decius/Soothsayer, Anna Crichlow as Brutus, Amie Francis as Calpurnia, Cash Holland as Portia/Murellus, Jack Myers as Caska/Octavius, Samuel Oatley as Mark Antony, and Dickon Tyrrell as Julius Caesar.
