Jessica Lee Goldyn to join MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL on Broadway
Producers of Moulin Rouge! The Musical have announced that Tony Award nominee Robyn Hurder will play her final performance as Nini on 20 February at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre, with Jessica Lee Goldyn taking over from 22 February.
Robyn Hurder leaves the production following an over four-year journey with Moulin Rouge! The Musical that began during the show’s early development in 2017. She earned her first Tony Award nomination for creating the role of Nini, one of the show’s iconic Lady Ms.
Jessica Lee Goldyn has appeared on Broadway in A Chorus Line (playing both Val and Cassie), Finding Neverland, Tuck Everlasting, Hello, Dolly! and on tour in Fosse. She has also appeared on TV in Smash and in the film Every Little Step.
The current Broadway cast is led by Natalie Mendoza as Satine, Tony Award winner Aaron Tveit as Christian, Eric Anderson as Harold Zidler, Tony and Olivier Award nominee Sahr Ngaujah as Toulouse-Lautrec, Tam Mutu as The Duke of Monroth, and Ricky Rojas as Santiago, with Ashley Loren is the Satine Alternate.
Completing the cast are Jacqueline B.
