Jeremy Jordan stars in new digital musical series A Killer Party

A brand new digital musical, A Killer Party: A Murder Mystery Musical will receive its world premiere on 5 August.

Fully produced in isolation, the nine-episode musical series has a stellar cast including WEBF favourite Jeremy Jordan and other big theatre names including Laura Osnes, Jarrod Spector, Alex Newell and many more.

The tongue-in-cheek take on a classic murder mystery has a score by Jason Howland, lyrics by Nathan Tysen, a book by Kait Kerrigan and direction by Marc Bruni.

Each episode is 6-8 minutes long and three new episodes will be released every Wednesday between 5-19 August. All together, there will be over 80 minutes worth of content, plus plenty of behind-the-scenes footage.

Composer Jason Howland said: "With so many people who work in theatre unemployed for so long due to COVID-19, it is vital that we find ways to sustain ourselves creatively and financially, and that we continue to create content for Broadway fans everywhere."

"A Killer Party is a collaboration between more than 40 Broadway professionals all working together remotely, bringing together actors and musicians, writers and creatives, press agents, backstage personnel, and post-production editors and mixers. A Killer Party is not only a new musical, but represents a new type of musical, and when you purchase it, you are supporting these artists "on stage" and behind-the-scenes. In return, we hope to provide some laughter and levity in this time when so much of our community is struggling."
