In great news this morning, it has been announced that Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is coming out of the darkness, where it has been since March when the West End closed due to the ongoing pandemic in the UK.

Fans of the acclaimed musical will be thrilled to know that, thanks to Nimax Theatres, the full cast and orchestra will return to the Apollo Theatre for a six-month run beginning 28 November.

It’s the best news for London’s theatre as it begins to emerge through the pandemic, with measures in place to ensure the show goes on for an industry which has been left largely in the dark this whole time. The theatre’s auditorium capacity has been altered, the cast and crew will be tested every 48 hours and audiences will be sent a health questionnaire prior to their visit. The producer’s are doing everything they can to ensure that the magic of theatre isn’t lost during this transition and you’ll still have a comfortable experience.

According to Jamie’s creative team, they have made changes to the show’s staging to “reflect a new Covid world” including face masks for ensemble members playing school kids.

The cast for the six-month run includes the return of Noah Thomas in the title role, along with Melissa Jacques, Phil Nichol, Sejal Keshwala, Hiba Elchikhe and Gillian Ford.

The performing company also includes Alexander Archer, Zion Battles, Ebony Clarke, Marlon G. Day, James Gillan, Zahra Jones, Emily Kenwright, Keenan Knight, Jordan Laviniere, Garry Lee, Brian James Leys, David O'Reilly, Harriet Payne, Jordan Ricketts, Rachel Seiran and Joe Wolstenholme.

This news comes on the tail end of the release of the official trailer for the film adaptation of Everybody’s Talking Jamie, coming to cinemas in February

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is a sensation you’ve got to see, to believe!

Tickets for the limited return are on sale now here.
