INTO THE WOODS cancelled at the Old Vic

The planned revival of Terry Gilliam’s Into The Woods at the Old Vic has been cancelled, it has been announced.

Originally scheduled to run from April 2022, no reason for the cancellation has been given but all involved are said to be very upset about the decision.

Stephen Sondheim’s musical has a book by James Lapine, and was to be co-directed by Gilliam and Leah Hausman.
