Intermission Youth to present MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING REMIXED
Intermission Youth are back with another remixed and reclaimed Shakespeare classic, Much Ado About Nothing Remixed, which plays at the Collective Theatre in North London from 11 November-7 December.
This bold, fresh take on a Shakespearean classic interrogates love, deception, misogyny, and gender through a 21st century, young London lens.
Don P and the Aragon boys, Benedick and Claudio, head to Messina for a party hosted by promoter Leon. There, Claudio falls for Hero, Leon's sister, but needs Don P’s help to win her over. While DJ (Don P’s jealous sibling) schemes to convince Claudio that Hero is unfaithful, Don P plots to get Benedick and Beatrice together. Love, drama, and secrets collide in Messina, the island of sun, sea, and socials!
