Initial casting revealed for new musical HEX at National Theatre

Initial casting has been announced for the National Theatre's mythic, big-hearted new musical Hex, running from 4 December 2021-22 January 2022.

Rosalie Craig will play the Fairy, alongside Esme Bacalla-Hayes, Tamsin Carroll, Madeline Charlemagne, Tamsin Dowsett, Michael Elcock, Eleanor Kane, Daisy Maywood and Kat Ronney.

Hex is the true story of the bad fairy and is a twist on the Sleeping Beauty fairytale. It has book by Tanya Ronder, music by Jim Fortune, lyrics by Rufus Norris, orchestrations by Simon Hale, musical supervision by Marc Tritschler, musical direction by Tarek Merchant, lighting by Paul Anderson, choreography by Jade Hackett and sound by Simon Baker.
