Brenda Edwards and Norman Pace have been confirmed to star in the UK touring production of Hairspray.

Edwards will play Motormouth Maybelle and Pace will feature as Wilbur, both of whom have played the roles before, with further casting to be announced.

Not linked to the West End production at the London Coliseum, the tour will open in parallel at the Theatre Royal Plymouth on 24 June 2021 before visiting Southampton, Manchester, Sheffield, Ipswich, Aylesbury, Edinburgh, Bradford, Brighton, Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Wolverhampton, Dublin, Belfast, Woking, Milton Keynes and Blackpool - with more dates to be announced in 2022.

This production of Hairspray is directed by Paul Kerryson, with choreography by Drew McOnie. The full creative team are also to be revealed.
