IN THE WINGS returns with third series of new musical theatre material

Drawing over 15K views for their first episode of Series Three alone, Henry Brennan and Justin Williams bring a six-week series of new musical theatre work to our screens with In the Wings  - a human interest programme of interviews with creatives plus West End and Graduate performances of new musical theatre material.

Always varied, this series features, amongst others, a refreshing collection of Queer writing/storylines including Deptford Wives and Tarrytown to name just a couple, all brought to life with arrangements by Brennan and his band. What’s more, this series plays every week for free on their YouTube channel here, watched by over 100K people since Series One and Two.

Recent new production Fiver, which saw Hiba Elchikhe and Luke Bayer track Alex James Ellison’s Southwark Playhouse ‘Fiver’ through the hands of audiences, gets the In the Wings treatment with new arrangements, including one from Hamilton star, Cleve September.

Airing at 7.30pm every Friday , don’t miss In the Wings and the work done by these two producers - musical director Brennan and set designer Williams - who wanted to give a platform to shows affected by the pandemic.

Presented by Michael Auger, you can catch it here.
