This November, HUMBUG – The Immersive Christmas Dive Bar – is back in London town, promising to be even bigger, even better, and even more raucous than ever before!

After a sell-out debut in 2023, HUMBUG returns for another year of festive fun, hidden at a new venue—the iconic Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. Running for a limited time from 14 November - 31 December, the show promises a memorable experience led by an award-winning cast and creative team.

Leading the festivities is a standout cast including stand-up comedian and actor Savannah Beckford, BBC Comedy and Channel 4’s Grace Dunne, and returning actor and Secret Cinema’s Grease star Meg Matthews as Daphne the Waitress, bringing an epic level of sass and charm to the role. Returning Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again actor Perry Meadowcroft will deliver more than just ‘letters to Santa’ as the excitable Howard the Mailman.

Meanwhile, the ever-energetic Rudie the Barkeep, played by physical comedy company, Made Etiquette co-founder Neil Frost, and Doctor Who: Time Fracture and BBC’s Daily Mash alumni Jacob Jackson will keep the drinks (and laughs) flowing throughout the night. And let’s not forget the Big Man himself, Santa, returning for a second year – actor, dancer and performer Drummond Bowskill, one of London’s leading immersive and interactive performers Liam Fleming – whether he’s merry, moody, or slightly tipsy, Santa’s sure to spread the festive spirit.

HUMBUG will play out against an incredible Christmas soundtrack from electrifying band Johnny Whiskey & The Barflies, multi-instrumentalist and theatre-maker Thomas Fabian Parrish, The Great Gatsby theatre actor Jessica Jolleys, actor-musician Thomas King, Footloose and The Secret Garden star Wendy Paver, and actor, musician, vocalist and composer Tomas Wolstenholme.

HUMBUG has a truly incredible team of creatives keeping the magic alive throughout the entire run. From direction led by Georgia Clarke-Day to costumes by Zahra Mansouri, art direction by Christianna Mason and Isabella Van Braeckel, lighting by Elliot Griggs, sound by David Gregory, and a magically interactive set design by Smith & Devil. All capped off by the hottest house band this side of the North Pole, Johnny Whiskey & The Barflies, with musical supervisor Thomas Fabian Parrish, and with arrangements by Tomas Wolstenholme.

HUMBUG promises to deliver a brand new tale of Christmas cheer, guaranteeing a fantastic festive night out complete with themed Christmas cocktails (choose from the “naughty” or “nice” list), draught beer and cider from partners BrewDog and Christmas themed HumBurgers, decadent festive fries and boozy waffles from award winning street food vendors Bang Bang Burger.

It’s the perfect celebration for groups of friends, shared office Christmas parties, or those looking for their new Christmas tradition. Don’t miss your chance to dive into a world of sing-alongs, hidden rooms and live performances. Prices start at just £25, with VIP tickets available for those who want to meet and cosy up to Santa in his ‘Grotto!’
