How to mark STRANGER THINGS DAY 2022

On 6 November 1983, Will Byers went missing in Hawkins, Indiana. But if you are a die-hard fan of Netflix mega hit Stranger Things, you would already know that, and if you are looking for a very on brand way to mark the occasion, here are some fantastic Stranger Things activities that you can do in London and in the comfort of your own home:

Stranger Sings!

Transporting audiences to the 1980’s parallel universe, Stranger Sings is a new musical parody which transforms London’s Waterloo Theatre into the Upside Down. The original Stranger Things storyline is combined with a mix of original and parody things, with themed cocktails on offer such as the ‘Dem-Eggo-Gorgons’.

After award-winning success in New York, this interactive musical plays at the Vaults Theatre until 15 January. The cast includes Anna Amelia as Eleven/Nancy Wheeler, Joseph Riley as Mike Wheeler, Finton Flynn as Lucas Sinclair/Demogorgon, Will Shackleton as Dustin Henderson, Holly Sumpton as Joyce Byers/Will Byers, Howard Jenkins as Jim Hopper, Jonty Peach as Steve Harrington/Jonathan Byers and Georgia McElwee as Barb Holland.

Stranger Things: The Experience

If you would like to step into Hawkins, Indiana, yourself, then take a trip down to Troubadour Brent Cross Studios and visit Stranger Things: The Experience.

In this hour-long immersive experience, audiences are invited to follow a brand new Stranger Things storyline, exploring an 80’s themed mix-tape medley complete with food, drinks, photo ops and special merchandise.

Hold a Stranger Things party at home

If you would prefer to stay home, then why not bring Stranger Things to you with these party ideas.

Fill your home with Christmas lights to contact the Upside Down, create your own tree trunk portal and indulge in some 80’s retro candy and some pizza for good measure.

Maybe dress up and make your own themed treats such as waffles, Strawberry Demogorgons or ice cream in a tribute to Scoops Ahoy.

Maybe you could play some Dudgeons and Dragons just like the Hawkins gang or play a game of Stranger Things themed monopoly, or maybe you just want to have some friends round and binge watch all four seasons on Netflix.
