Hope Mill Theatre’s Rent will proceed with digital stream despite cancelled live performances
The Hope Mill Theatre’s production of Rent has literally only just started but unfortunately, like many other shows, will cease performances from 5 November, in line with government guidance.
However, the theatre has confirmed that it will be going ahead with its digital stream, which will be pre-recorded at the venue, with strictly limited tickets available here.
Live performances will go ahead up until 5 November and affected ticket holders for future dates will be contacted regarding their booking.
The cast for the show includes: Jocasta Almgill as Joanne, Blake Patrick Anderson as Mark, Tom Francis as Roger, Ahmed Hamad as Benny, Dom Hartley-Harris as Collins, Millie O'Connell as Maureen, Maiya Quansah-Breed as Mimi and Alex Thomas-Smith as Angel. Completing the cast are Kayla Carter, Allie Daniel, Isaac Hesketh and Bethany Terry.
The production is directed by Luke Sheppard with choreography by Tom Jackson Greaves, musical direction by Katy Richardson, design by David Woodhead, lighting by Howard Hudson and sound by Paul Gatehouse.
