HOCUS POCUS IN CONCERT announced at Eventim Apollo

The iconic Disney film Hocus Pocus will be presented live in concert at the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on 29 October, just in time for Halloween.

The special one-off London show comes after sell-out debut UK showings last year, which saw the in-concert film head to five major cities.

The Hocus Pocus In Concert showing will take place almost a year to the day after the cult favourite was made into a sequel and released as Hocus Pocus 2.

The perfect Halloween treat, Hocus Pocus In Concert will feature a screening of the complete film with Emmy®-winning composer John Debney’s musical score performed live to the spooky classic film.

Hocus Pocus tells the story of three witches who are accidentally brough back to life in Salem on Halloween night. Known as the Sanderson sisters, they attempt to steal the life essence from the town’s children so they can have eternal life.

They are outwitted by a boy, Max Dennison, his young sister, Dani, and his girlfriend, Allison, and aided by a boy, Thackery Binx, who had been changed into a cat for trying to interfere with the witches centuries earlier.

Released on 16 July 1993 and directed by Kenny Ortega, the film stars Bette Midler as Winifred, Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah, Kathy Najimy as Mary, Omri Katz as Max, Thora Birch as Dani, and Vinessa Shaw as Allison.

Tickets go on sale on 28 June. For more information, please click here.
