Hit musical DREAMGIRLS to tour UK from December 2021

Sonia Friedman Productions has today announced that the previously postponed UK tour of Dreamgirls will now open at Liverpool Empire in December, prior to visiting cities across the country throughout 2022 and into 2023.

This sensational, multi-award winning production has a book and lyrics by Tom Eyen, with music by Henry Krieger. The show received its West End premiere in 2016 at the Savoy Theatre and features iconic songs including ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’, ‘Listen’ and ‘One Night Only’.

Directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, Dreamgirls has set and costumes by Tim Hatley, lighting by Hugh Vanstone, sound by Richard Brooker and musical supervision by Nick Finlow.

Nicole Raquel Dennis (Dear Evan Hansen, ITV’s The Voice) will take on the role of Effie White, with further casting to be announced soon.
