HAIR concert confirms new performance dates

Hair The Musical

The upcoming concert production of Hair the Musical by The Turbine Theatre has announced its rescheduled dates for the London Palladium, due to ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic.

Following the previously announced date change for the Southampton Mayflower when Hair will take to the stage for two shows on Sunday 27 June 2021, it will now first head to the London Palladium for two performances on Sunday 13 June.

The show, which brings to life the book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado, tells the story of a group of anti-war, politically active, long-haired hippies in the 1960’s. With music by Galt MacDermot, it features popular songs such as ‘Good Morning,’ ‘Star Shine’, ‘Hair’, and ‘Aquarius’.

The specially produced concert version is directed by Arlene Phillips and will star Luke Bayer (Everybody's Talking About Jamie), Nicole Raquel Dennis (Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress), Jordan Luke Gage (Bat Out Of Hell& Juliet), Grace Mouat (Six& Juliet), Millie O'Connell (Six, Rent), Jodie Steele (Heathers, SiX) and Layton Williams (Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Rent).

Taking on production roles will be Paul Schofield providing musical direction, design by David Shields, and Andrew Exeter and Dan Samson providing lighting and sound design respectively.
