Hair concert at The Mayflower Theatre rescheduled

Hair in Concert

Due to a second lockdown, theatres have once again been forced to close their doors, meaning that all of the work that has been done to get live performance going again is delayed once more.

Hair The Musical in Concert was due to play at Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre later this month but the show has now been rescheduled to January 2021, with two new dates announced.

The show, directed by Arlene Phillips, will feature Aimie Atkinson, Matt Croke, Lucie Jones, Luke Bayer, Jordan Luke Gage, Grace Mouat, Nicole Raquel Dennis and Layton Williams, and will now play in Southampton on the 14 & 15 January 2021.

Hair is a American classic, celebrating the sixties tribal counterculture in all its long haired, beaded and fringed glory, and this newly arranged concert version will have you grooving along to its infectious rock beat with many famous songs such as ‘Good Morning Starshine’, ‘I’ve Got Life’ and of course, the famous ‘Hair’.

Tickets for Hair The Musical in Concert at the Mayflower Theatre are now on sale here.
