GROUNDHOG DAY - THE MUSICAL set to make its London return

Tim Minchin has revealed that the stage adaptation of Groundhog Day - The Musical is set to return to London in the near future.

The composer/lyricist unofficially announced the news in an interview with Claudia Winkleman but said that it is “probably another year away…”

The musical was last seen in London for a limited run at The Old Vic in summer 2016, where it was nominated for eight Olivier Awards and winning two. The show then transferred to Broadway in April 2017.

Groundhog Day – The Musical has a book by Danny Rubin and is based on the classic 1993 film of the same name.
