GoFundMe page launched to support musical theatre performer ADAM PEARCE

A GoFundMe page has been created to raise funds for actor Adam Pearce (Sunset Boulevard, The Prince of Egypt) who suffered a stroke on 2 December when he came off stage at the Young Vic, performing as part of new musical, Mandela.

The bleed to the brain that Pearce experienced, which resulted in the stroke, has left him paralysed on his left side and has been in hospital since. He is currently undergoing an intensive programme of physiotherapy and occupational therapy at a specialist rehabilitation hospital.

The campaign page details areas where he is making great progress, with the hope that he will be well enough to return home in mid-February.

Pearce was scheduled to begin a new year-long contract on another production following Mandela but being unable to fulfil this commitment means that he is currently without financial support, hence the GoFundMe page.
