Glee to be made available on Disney+

Disney has announced that all six seasons of Glee will be arriving on Disney+ shortly.

The popular TV show will be available in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Ireland from 23 February and in Latin America on 19 February.

The series makes up part of the line-up for new brand ‘Star’, which includes shows from 20th Century Studios, FX, ABC, Touchstone, and Searchlight Pictures.

Glee is a musical comedy following a group of high school students from their beginnings in the school’s glee club right through to the beginnings of their stage careers.

When airing, Glee won several prestigious awards, including four Golden Globes (one for Best TV Series – Comedy or Musical), six Emmys, and a Peabody Award. It also has two Grammy Award nominations, two Platinum and five Gold albums and more than 13million albums sold worldwide.

The series starred Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer and many more.
