Further casting has been announced for Larry Kramer’s The Normal Heart, which will be staged at the National Theatre in September 2021.

The piece follows the founder of an AIDS advocacy group, Ned Weeks, and has not been performed professionally in London for 35 years.

The cast is led by Ben Daniels, alongside Robert Bowman, Liz Carr, Daniel Krikler, Daniel Monks, Elander Moore, Luke Norris, Henry Nott, Freddie Stabb and Danny Lee Wynter.

The Normal Heart will be directed by Dominic Cooke, with set design by Vicki Mortimer, costumes by Lisa Duncan, lighting by Paule Constable, and sound by Carolyn Downing.

The ticket release date will be announced in due course.
