Further casting announced for THE DRIFTERS GIRL starring Beverley Knight

Further casting has been revealed for new musical The Drifters Girl, starring Beverley Knight, which receives its world premiere at Newcastle Theatre Royal from 9-23 October before transferring to London’s Garrick Theatre for a limited run from 4 November.

Joining the previously announced Knight, who plays manager Faye Treadwell, will be Tosh Wanogho-Maud (Dreamgirls), Matt Henry (Kinky Boots), Adam J Bernard (Dreamgirls) and Tarrin Callender (Hamilton) as The Drifters.

Directed by Jonathan Church, The Drifters Girl tells the remarkable story of one of the world's greatest vocal groups and the woman who made them.

The production has set design by Anthony Ward, costumes by Faye Fullerton, choreography by Karen Bruce, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Tom Marshall, and musical direction by Chris Egan.

The Drifters Girl features an incredible soundtrack including ‘Save The Last Dance For Me’, ‘Under The Boardwalk’, ‘Stand By Me’, ‘Saturday Night At The Movies’ and many more.
