Further casting announced for GYPSY concert at Alexandra Palace

Further casting has been announced for the one-off concert of Gypsy at the Alexandra Palace on 21 February 2022.

We reported on the cast playing the part of Rose back in September here. Joining them will be Laura Pitt-Pulford as Louise, Carly Mercedes Dyer as June and Christopher Howell as Herbie.

Also freshly announced today are Ebony Molina, Rachel Stanley and Alexxis Owen-Hobbs as Electra, Mazzepa and Tessie Tura.

The 1959 musical tells the story of the most famous of showbiz mums and is known for its iconic Sondheim lyrics. The unforgettable musical score including ‘Let Me Entertain You’, ‘Together’, ‘Wherever We Go’ and ‘Everything’s Coming Up Roses’ will be played by a 26-piece orchestra on the night, conducted by Alex Parker.

This production of Gypsy is directed by Paul Foster, with choreography by Joanna Goodwin and sound design by Paul Smith.

Tickets for the one-off concert on 21 February 2022 are on sale here
