Full casting announced for return of PRETTY WOMAN in the West End
Full casting has been announced for the West End return of Pretty Woman - The Musical, ahead of its opening at the Savoy Theatre on 8 July.
Aimie Atkinson and Danny Mac will return to lead the show as VIvian and Edward respectively, alongside Rachael Wooding as Kit, Bob Harms as Happy Man/Mr Thompson, Neil McDermott as Philip and Mark Holden as James.
Completing the cast will be Jemma Alexander, Andy Barke, Kimberly Blake, Katie Bradley, Oliver Brenin, Olivia Brookes (joining as first cover Vivian), Alex Charles, Olly Christopher, Ben Darcy, Hannah Ducharme, Nicholas Duncan, Paige Fenlon, Damon Gould, Alex Hammond, Tom Andrew Hargreaves (joining as ensemble /1st cover Stuckey/2nd cover Edward), Antony Hewitt, Matt Jones, Serina Mathew, Katie Monks, Joanna Woodward and Charlotte Yorke.
Pretty Woman has a book by Garry Marshall and J F Lawton (who also wrote the film’s screenplay), with original music and lyrics by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance.
The musical is directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, with set design by David Rockwell, costumes by Tom Rogers, lighting by Kenneth Posner and Philip S Rosenberg, sound by John Shivers, and musical supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Will Van Dyke.
