Full casting announced for PIAF at Nottingham Playhouse

Full casting has been revealed for the upcoming production of Piaf, starring Olivier Award winner Jenna Russell.

The co-production between Nottingham Playhouse and Leeds Playhouse will reopen the Nottingham venue from 2-17 July 2021 before transferring to Leeds Playhouse from 23 July-7 August. There will also be a live streaming option on 14 July.

Russell will be joined by Sally Ann Triplett as Toine, Laura Pitt-Pulford as Marlene Dietrich, Garry Robson as Louis Leplee, Louis Gaunt as Piaf's husband Theo, Samuel James as owner and manager of the Paris Olympia - Bruno, Matthew Woodyatt as Raymond, Joseph Prowen as Louis and Zheng Xi Yong as Lucien.

The musical will be directed by artistic director at Nottingham Playhouse Adam Penford, with design by Frankie Bradshaw, lighting by Jack Knowles, sound by Ella Wahlström, and musical direction by Gareth Valentine.
