Full casting announced for Italian premiere of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

Casting has been announced for the Italian premiere of The Phantom of the Opera, which plays at Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia in Trieste from 4-16 July and Tam Teatro Arcimboldi Milano from 11-22 October, starring the previously announced Ramin Karimloo in the title role.

Joining Karimloo in this brand new production will be Italian American soprano Amelia Milo as Christine, with Bradley Jaden (Les Misérables) as Raoul, Earl Carpenter (The Phantom of the Opera) as Monsieur Andre, Ian Mowat (42nd Street) as Monsieur Firmin, international soprano Anna Corvino as Carlotta, tenor Gianluca Pasolini as Ubaldo Piangi, Alice Mistroni (Legally Blonde) as Madame Giry and Zoe Nochi (The Violin of Shoah) as Meg.

Completing the cast are Jeremy Rose, Matt Bond, Mark Biocca, Nicholas Ciulla, Laura Galigani, Luca Gaudiano, Antonio Orler, Marianna Bonansone, Martina Ash, Robert Ediogu, Stephanie Fratepietro, Jessica Lorusso, Martha Melchior and Margherita Toso.

This cast will perform in Trieste and Milan. The production will also transfer to the Opéra de Monte-Carlo from 16-31 December, with Karimloo and Milo starring and further casting to be confirmed.

Directed and designed by Federico Bellone, the English speaking production features music supervision by John Mary Lori, with choreography by Gillian Bruce, co-design by Clara Abruzzese, costumes by Clare Donato, lighting by Valerio Tiberi, sound by Roc Mateu, illusion and special effects design by Paul Card, and music direction by Julio Awad.
