Full cast announced for UK tour of WHITE CHRISTMAS - THE MUSICAL
Full casting has been announced for the UK tour of Made at Curve’s production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, which opens on 12 November at the Truro Hall for Cornwall before visiting Nottingham, Sunderland and Liverpool.
The production will star Jay McGuiness (Big the Musical, West End) as Bob Wallace, Lorna Luft (Promises, Promises, Broadway) as Martha Watson, Michael Starke (Waitress, UK tour; Brookside, Channel 4) as General Waverly, Dan Burton (Gypsy, West End) reprises his role as Phil Davis, Jessica Daley (An Officer and a Gentleman, UK tour) returns to the role of Betty Haynes, and Monique Young (Gypsy: A Musical Fable, Buxton Opera House) reprises her role as Judy Haynes.
The cast is completed by Simon Anthony, Tom Bales, Lydia Bannister, George Beet, Imogen Bowtell, Isabel Canning, Gabrielle Cocca, Joseph Craig, Beth Devine, Steve Fortune, Ashton Harkness, Connor Hughes, Owen McHugh, Benjamin Mundy, James Revell, Sadie-Jean Shirley, Matthew Sweet, Lucy Warway, David Winters and Alex Wright.
White Christmas has music and lyrics by Irving Berlin and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. It is based on the original production by Curve Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, with direction by Ian Talbot OBE, choreography by two-time Olivier Award-winning choreographer Stephen Mear, set design by Michael Taylor, costumes by Diego Pitarch, musical supervision by Stephen Brooker, lighting by Mark Henderson, sound by Tom Marshall, orchestrations by Larry Blank, with new musical arrangements by Jason Carr, and casting by Jonathan Russell for Mark Goucher Productions.
