Full cast announced to join Mathew Horne and Keith Allen in Pinter's THE HOMECOMING tour

Full casting for the upcoming Harold Pinter play The Homecoming has been announced ahead of its tour.

The Tony Award-winning masterpiece will be directed by actor and director Jamie Glover and is widely regarded as Pinter’s finest play. The Homecoming  tells the story of Teddy, a professor at an American university, whom returns to his childhood home accompanied by his wife, to find his father, uncle and brothers all still living there. Through a series of encounters, life becomes a battle for power and sexual superiority fought through verbal brutality.

Taking on the role of Teddy will be Sam Alexander (Emmerdale; Lady in the Van, Theatre Royal Bath), with wife Ruth being played by Shanaya Rafaat (Around the World in 80 Days, St James Theatre).

Mathew Horne (Gavin & Stacey) will play Lenny, Teddy’s enigmatic brother, family patriarch Max will be played by Keith Allen (The Pembrokeshire Murders, Robin Hood) with four time Olivier Award nominee Ian Bartholomew (Mrs Henderson Presents, Coronation Street) as Sam, and RSC regular Geoffrey Lumb (The Mirror and the Light) as Joey.

The tour will begin at Theatre Royal Bath on 30 March before visiting Cambridge, Malvern, Leicester, Brighton, Newcastle and York.

Tickets are available at individual theatre box offices.
