Full cast announced for Jamie Lloyd Company’s THE TEMPEST at Theatre Royal Drury Lane
The Jamie Lloyd Company has announced the full cast for William Shakespeare’s The Tempest at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, playing from 7 December 2024 to 1 February 2025.
Directed by Jamie Lloyd, the cast includes the previously announced Sigourney Weaver as Prospero, with Jude Akuwudike (Kyoto, RSC) as Alonso, Jason Barnett (Hot Wing King, National Theatre) as Stephano, Selina Cadell (A Monster Calls, The Old Vic/Bristol Old Vic) as Gonzalo, Mathew Horne (The Lover/The Collection, Theatre Royal Bath) as Trinculo, Mara Huf (Childminder, Traverse Theatre) as Miranda, Forbes Masson (Farm Hall, Theatre Royal Haymarket) as Caliban, Mason Alexander Park (Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, West End) as Ariel, James Phoon (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, West End) as Ferdinand, Oliver Ryan (Richard III, Liverpool Playhouse/Rose Theatre Kingston) as Sebastian, and Tim Steed (Jack Absolute Flies Again, National Theatre) as Antonio.
The production will feature set and costume design by Soutra Gilmour, lighting by Jon Clark, sound and co-composition by Ben and Max Ringham, co-composition by Michael 'Mikey J' Asante, movement direction by Fabian Aloise, casting by Stuart Burt CDG, and musical direction by Giles Deacon.
