Fringe review: FLAT AND THE CURVES: DIVADOM, Lee Martin for Gag Reflex - Edinburgh Festival Fringe

A glittering, glamorous cabaret with a difference. The comedy quartet present their self-penned songs celebrating sex and sisterhood in a bra-burning evening of mischief, taking a journey through dating escapades, online pornography, and the perils of flat-pack furniture to hen nights, hangovers and motherhood.

Imagine an evening of relatable topics, female empowerment, top class tunes and some seriously hot vocals and this is what you'll get with Flat and the Curves. Their outrageously funny lyrics are perceptive, there's no holding back here!

Katy Baker, Issy Wroe Wright, Charlotte Brooke and Arabella Rodrigo make up the group. Their vocals are consistently impressive and their Divadom (in the very best sense of the word) is entirely owned, sparkling their way through the performance, not only with their costumes, but with their talent.

This is not just one for the girls, we'll let a few of the boys in too, someone has to show them how it's done!

Glamourous, not(e)ably honest and superbly talented.

***** Five stars
