We hope that you’ve been enjoying online theatre as much as we have recently! And guess what? We have something really exciting to reveal!

As part of Broadway HD’s celebration of Pride month, a special sing-along version of Falsettos is set to be released for free.

William Finn and James Lapine’s award winning show, which was first performed in 1992, tells the story of Marvin. After coming out as gay and moving in with his lover Whizzer, Marvin struggles to keep his family together despite their unusual situation. Set during the 1980s, it explores the queer community of the time, as well as the AIDS crisis.

This particular production from 2017 was filmed in New York’s Walter Kerr Theatre. It stars Christian Borle, Stephanie J Block, Andrew Rannells, and Brandon Uranowitz; all of whom were Tony nominated for their performances.

Falsettos will be streaming on BroadwayHD from 25 June. In the UK it will be available from around 1am, with only 48 hours to view it. Donations via the website will go towards Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and its emergency grants for pandemic relief.

You can also join in by using the hashtag #FalsettosSingAlong!
