First look at Samantha Barks as Elsa from Frozen The Musical

The Royal Variety Performance 2020 was filmed this week and thanks to the Frozen London Twitter account, we got our first look at Samantha Barks in the role of Elsa prior to its West End opening.

The current scheduled opening date for the hotly anticipated London production of Frozen is 14 April 2021, with previews from 2 April. 

Samantha Barks will star as Elsa alongside Stephanie McKeon as Anna, Obioma Ugoala as Kristoff, Craig Gallivan as Olaf, Oliver Ormson as Hans, Richard Frame as Weselton and Mikayla Jade and Ashley Birchall alternating the role of Sven.

The cast is completed by Jeremy Batt, Cameron Burt, Lauren Chia, Hannah Fairclough, Laura Emmit, Emily-Mae, Danielle Fiamanya, Matt Gillet, Joe Griffiths-Brown, Emily Lane, Leisha Mollyneaux, Justin-Lee Jones, Jason Leigh Winter, Jacob Maynard, Gabriel Mokake, Jemma Revell, Sarah O’Conner, Jacqui Sanchez, Jak Skelly, Jake Small, Joshua St.Clair, Isabel Snaas, Anna Woodside and Monica Swayne.

The Royal Variety Performance will be broadcast on ITV1 on Tuesday 8 December.
