Just in time for Valentine’s Day, hit musical First Date is being added to the BroadwayHD back catalogue on 12 February.

Starring Samantha Barks and Simon Lipkin, alongside Oscar Conlon-Morrey, Rufus Kampa, Nicholas McLean and Danielle Steers, this filmed version of the show was filmed at Crazy Coqs last Autumn.

Originally premiering on Broadway in 2013, First Date centres on two singletons in New York who have been set up on a date that goes from a disaster to a delightful evening. It has a book by Austin Winsberg, with music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner.

This production is directed by Dean Johnson, with musical supervision by Adam Hoskins and musical direction by Josh Winstone.
