Final Sondheim musical to premiere in New York in September 2023

It has been announced that the world premiere of Here We Are, the final musical by legendary composer Stephen Sondheim, will play a strictly limited run at The Shed’s Griffin Theater in New York in September.  

The musical, formerly known as Square One, features a book by Tony Award nominee David Ives, direction by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, and is inspired by the two films The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie and The Exterminating Angel by Luis Buñuel.
