Festive magic and sparkle are in the air in Oxford, with rehearsals now in their final stages for this year’s Oxford Playhouse Pantomime, the legendary Robin Hood, which runs from 27 November 2021-9 January 2022.

Oxford Playhouse is delighted that its traditional family pantomime returns to the stage this year, with a cornucopia of popular songs and dances, a great adventure story and much merriment, sparkle, magic and festive cheer for all.

This fantastic production is written and directed by Steve Marmion, and performed by a hugely talented cast including Steffan Lloyd-Evans as Robin Hood and Naomi Alade as Maid Marian, supported by Oxford Playhouse panto young companies.

Actor Steffan Lloyd-Evans making his debut for Oxford Playhouse said: I couldn’t be more thrilled to be playing everyone’s favourite outlaw, Robin Hood, in the Playhouse Panto this year! Rehearsals have been full of laughter, fun and almost non-stop dancing and we as a cast cannot wait to share that joy with audiences throughout the festive season.”

The cast is comprised of a core team of professional actors and two brilliant Young Companies featuring local young performers hand-picked through a competitive auditions process.
