Fee Fi Fo Fun as Norwich Theatre Royal announces JACK & THE BEANSTALK as Christmas pantomime

Norwich Theatre have revealed that its much-anticipated pantomime production this Christmas will be Jack & the Beanstalk, running at Norwich Theatre Royal from 10 December 2022-7 January 2023.

Actor, presenter, and local treasure Joe Tracini, who won the hearts of the Norwich Theatre Royal audiences as Tommy the Cat in last year's pantomime, returns with his unique style of madcap comedy as hero, Jack.

Once again, donning a flamboyant dame costume on stage, Richard Gauntlett will play Jack's Mum, Dame Trott. This will mark Richard's 22nd pantomime appearance at Norwich Theatre, and he cannot wait to delight Norwich's audience once more.

Norwich Theatre Chief Executive & Creative Director, Stephen Crocker, said: "It's lovely to be back with our festive pantomime! We were thrilled to welcome thousands of people to enjoy Dick Whittington and his Cat last Christmas time, and even more so that it has just been nominated by the Pantomime Association as Best Pantomime (over 900 seats). We know our audiences in Norfolk love pantomime and this year we are returning with a traditional favourite packed with all of the pantomime ingredients audiences want.

"It's never too early to be planning Christmas fun, and Jack & the Beanstalk promises plenty of laughs, fantastic costumes and special effects to amaze all the family."

Jack & the Beanstalk goes on sale to Gold Friends, Supporters and Corporates on Friday 25 March, to Friends on Tuesday 29 March and to the general public on Monday 4 April here.
