It has been announced that Everybody’s Talking About Jamie will reopen in May with social distancing in plans, with the role of Hugo/Loco Chanelle set to be played by Shane Richie, who has previously played the role in London and on tour.

Shane Richie will play the role until 18 July, with the show booking currently until 29 August. The show will also star Noah Thomas, Melissa Jacques, Sejal Keshwala, Hiba Elchikhe and Gillian Ford, with the script set to be adapted to adhere to government regulations in the initial socially distanced run. The cast is completed by Zion Battles, Alexander Archer, Marlon G. Day, Ebony Clarke, James Gillian, Zahra Jones, Emily Kenwright, Jordan Laviniere, Keenan Knight, Garry Lee, Brian James Leys, David O’Reilly, Harriet Payne, Jordan Ricketts, Rachel Seiran and Joe Wolstenholme.

The show, which is inspired by a documentary about Jamie Campbell who wanted to become a drag queen at 16 years old, has been in the West End for three years with a movie adaptation due to be released at some point this year.
