The iCrowd app is pairing up with 2013 Eurovision winner Emmelie de Forest and former UK contestants Daz Sampson and James Fox to invite fans to join them via the app to create a global remote audience for watch parties for this year’s competition. 

People from all over the world can join the stars to form this virtual audience using the app, which allows them to use soundboard buttons to applaud, boo and contribute their unique sounds as they watch the semi-finals and the grand finale. The sounds selected by the users will be combined in the cloud to create the sound of a single global audience.

Through the app, fans from around the world will be able to hear each other cheer on the contestants, just as if they were attending the performances together, and the fans will be able to interact using the iCrowd app’s event specific chat feature. 

The app’s watch parties provide fans with a unique opportunity to interact live with Emmelie de Forest, Daz Sampson and James Fox with each joining the app for one of the three nights of broadcasts. The former contestants will share their expert insight in the app’s discussion during each broadcast.

James Fox will be on the chat on 18 May, with Daz Sampson joining in on 20 May and Emmelie de Forest leading the chat for the grand finale on 22 May.
