ERIC’S CHRISTMAS CAROL gives Scrooge a swinging sixties twist

Everyone’s favorite scoundrel ‘Eric’ and his gang are putting a swinging sixties twist on the most timeless of Christmas stories at the New Vic this festive season.

Eric’s Christmas Carol, performed at the theatre-in-the-round from 1-11 December, guarantees audiences the most entertaining Christmas party they could wish for with a band of brilliant actor-musicians providing a fresh but nostalgic take on the Dickens classic.

Eric is running the meanest music shop in town – assisted by his unpaid assistant and his housekeeper. One Christmas Eve, after a visit to the trendy Bar Humbug, Eric spends the night alone. Suddenly, he is awoken by the sound of ghostly moans and… well, you know the rest!

Giving one of the most famous tales of all time an Eric-shaped makeover, Eric’s Christmas Carol is stuffed with laughs and all your favourite ’60s tunes to make this the perfect start to your festive season!
