Emmerdale star Liam Fox to join cast of CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG

It has been announced that Emmerdale star Liam Fox will play Grandpa Potts alongside Olivier-nominee Adam Garcia as Caractacus Potts in the new production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. opening at Mayflower Theatre, Southampton on 30 April before embarking on a UK tour.

Based on Ian Fleming’s timeless story for children and later made into the famous 1968 film, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang features the unforgettable songs by the Sherman Brothers including ‘Toot Sweets’, ‘Hushabye Mountain’, ‘Truly Scrumptious’ and the Academy Award-nominated title song, ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’.

This new production is directed by Thom Southerland, with choreography by Karen Bruce, set and costume design by Morgan Large, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Gareth Tucker, musical supervision by George Dyer, and casting by Debbie O’Brien.
