Eighth cast announced for Agatha Christie’s WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION at London County Hall

Celebrating its 5th anniversary in October, Witness for the Prosecution at London County Hall announces its eighth cast today.

Directed by Lucy Bailey, the production sees Leonard Vole accused of murdering a widow in order to inherit her wealth.  The stakes are high, will he be able to convince the jury of his innocence and escape the hangman’s noose?

Harry Reid (Eastenders, BBC) returns to reprise his role as Leonard Vole, with Naomi Sheldon (The Comedy of Errors, RSC) joining as Romaine Vole. Dugald Bruce-Lockhart (Private Lives, Bath Theatre Royal/Nigel Havers Theatre Company - UK tour) will play Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, with Jonathan Coote (The Crown, Netflix) as Mr Mayhew, Justin Avoth (My Brilliant Friend, National Theatre/Rose Theatre, Kingston) as Mr Myers QC and Nicholas Day (Yellowfin, Southwark Playhouse) as Mr Justice Wainwright.

Rosanna Adams, Lorraine Amako, Daniel Bravo, Myles Devonte, Greg Fitch, Kevin N Golding, Lawrence Haynes, Isabella Kibble, Paul McEwan, Simon Rhodes, Tom Syms and Lucy Tregear will complete the new cast.

The production is designed by William Dudley, with lighting by Chris Davey, sound by Mic Pool, and casting by Ellie Collyer-Bristow CDG.
