EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL to go ahead this August

It has been confirmed that the Edinburgh International Festival will go ahead from 7-29 August, with the addition of a number of Covid-secure temporary outdoor venues.

The three outdoor pavilions will be constructed at “iconic city locations” including the Old College Quad on Nicolson Street and Edinburgh Park, and will be designed for live performance, with covered stages and socially distanced seating.

The in-person programme will be aimed at local audiences, with a parallel programme of digital work produced for home audiences.

The full programme will be announced on 2 June , with tickets going on sale from 11 June.
