Little Angel Theatre have announced a bumper season of shows and activities to keep families and children entertained over Easter.

Kicking off the venue’s 60th anniversary season is Where The Bugaboo Lives, following Floyd and his sister Ruby as they venture into the valley behind their house and meet all manner of creepy creatures in a “choose your own” adventure! Sean Taylor and Neal Layton’s popular story is Little Angel’s first Made for Zoom production, directed by Samantha Lane and designed by Ellie Mills.

Garlic Theatre’s Eggs on Legs will follow. When a gust of wind blows an egg into their home, a zany family of Eggs on Legs are excited to play with it- but can they keep it safe from the slithery snake, and what will happen when it hatches? This “cracking” family show is filled with wonder, music and surprise, and you’ll never look at an egg in the same way again! Each performance will be followed by a workshop to get audiences in the mood for Easter.

We Cover The Universe combines play, poetry and drawing in the story of Dot, who through courage and a little imagination, finds her grey room burst into glorious colour!

Easter Holiday Craft Sessions run from 6 – 9 April. Inspired by some of the theatre’s favourite stories, children aged 6 -10 are invited to Watch, Make & Share along with the Little Angel Team. From April 1, a new digital series People Behind The Puppets will release weekly, and feature the theatre’s very own puppet “Angel” interviewing some of the incredibly talented designers whose work have graced the Little Angel’s stage over the years about their experiences and why they love the work they do.

The theatre’s series of two weekly digital shorts and craft activities will also continue, beginning 21 March. All these digital releases will be available via their Youtube channel.
