DRACULA (UN)DEAD AIR - A LIVE RADIO PLAY performed as part of GrimFest at Old Red Lion Theatre

If you’re looking for some camp and silly fun this spooky season, look no further than Dracula - (Un)Dead Air, playing as part of The Old Red Lion’s GrimFest on 28 & 29 October.

Halloween Night. 1937. A star-studded, hotly-anticipated live radio broadcast of Dracula. But the cast are indisposed, jobs are at ‘stake’ and the show must go on! It falls to an anxious foley artist and the starry-eyed warm-up act to perform the horror classic all by themselves in order to avoid their greatest fear: dead air… Featuring villainous vampires, distressed damsels, frightening foley, stiff upper lips and what on earth are they going to do with that head of lettuce?

Dracula - (Un)Dead Air is a semi-immersive comedy take on a horror classic, all in the ‘vein’ of The 39 Steps and The Play That Goes Wrong.

The show is being presented by Peas & Carrots Productions, comprising Sam Carlyle (The 12 Dates of Christmas) and Anton Tweedale (The Way Old Friends Do).

Having performed together in many ‘radio play’ productions, the duo are now sinking their teeth into the grandaddy of horror classics.
