Disney’s BEDKNOBS AND BROOMSTICKS extends world premiere UK & Ireland tour
The world premiere tour of Michael Harrison and Disney’s Bedknobs and Broomsticks will fly into several more UK venues, it has been announced today.
Opening at Newcastle Theatre Royal on 14 August 2021, previously announced cities include Canterbury, Southend, Dublin, Milton Keynes, Woking, Norwich, Nottingham, Eastbourne, Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Birmingham, Aberdeen, Dartford, Southampton and Edinburgh, plus a five-week festive season at Leeds Grand next Christmas.
Today’s venue additions include: Bristol Hippodrome, Millenium Centre Cardiff, Curve Leicester, Liverpool Empire, Northampton Derngate, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Grand Theatre Wolverhampton, Hull New Theatre and Belfast Opera House.
The musical production will be brought to life by Candice Edmunds and Jamie Harrison, and features original songs by the legendary Sherman Brothers, new music and lyrics by Neil Bartram, and a book by Brian Hill.
