It may have met with mixed reviews following its cinema release but Dear Evan Hansen will land on Netflix UK on 24 August, it has been announced.

The filmcast includes Ben Platt as Evan, with Julianne Moore as Heidi, Kaitlyn Dever as Zoe, Amy Adams as Cynthia, Amandla Stenberg as Alana, Nik Dodani as Jared, Colton Ryan as Connor, and Danny Pino as Larry.

With music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, Steven Levenson has adapted his original stage version for the film, with direction by Stephen Chbosky.
