David Walliams’ BILLIONAIRE BOY to tour in partnership with Car Park Party

Car Park Party, the company who brought karaoke, comedy nights and Horrible Histories to car parks up and down the country last year, have today announced that they will be returning this Easter with Billionaire Boy – Live on Stage.

In partnership with the award-winning Birmingham Stage Company, David Walliams’ much loved story will be performed at locations across the country in a strictly limited tour, beginning at the NEC Birmingham on Friday 2 April, before visiting Manchester, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Newark, Northampton, Stoneleigh, Knebworth, Windsor, Newbury, Poole, Exeter, Bath, Bristol and Cheltenham.

Billionaire Boy tells the story of Joe Spud, a 12-year-old who just so happens to be the richest boy in the country. He owns his own sports car, has two crocodiles as pets and £100,000 a week in pocket money. He may have all of that but he doesn’t have a friend, so by deciding to leave his posh school and enrol at the local comp, he goes searching for a friend. But things don’t go according to plan as he tries to find out what money can’t buy.

Car Park Party events are held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, with audience members watching the show from the comfort of their own cars, with social distancing in place throughout.

Tickets go on sale at 8am on Thursday 4 February, with the advice to book fast to avoid disappointment.
