David Mildon to present own one-man play LEAVES at Jermyn Street Theatre

Actor David Mildon can be seen in the beautifully crafted one-man play, Leaves, at Jermyn Street Theatre on select dates between 22 June-1 July, as part of the Footprints Festival.

"So we went for a walk. And she took my hand. She leaned into me, with her weight, the little  there was of her. And for the first time in my life I was needed. I was wanted."

Henry Wicks is here to talk about his new book. An erudite scholar with effortless French, where does his fascination with a 15th century poet come from? And what happens when books live on in  the heart, as well as the mind?

Henry’s story of poetry, romance and reading takes us back to a long lost summer in Paris. 

Directed by Simon Evans (in his first theatre project since creating Staged), Leaves is a short play about love and literature.
